A modern apartment in Singapore has as its main element a prominent iron structure, that makes a physical connection between all the rooms. The space’s design, that belongs to Woon Tai Ho, collector and art critic, was developed by local studio Produce. They designed an interior with industrial characteristics, where the polished concrete grey tones predominate in walls and pavement.
The large black structure is not only a sculpture that makes this space special.
Throughout the rooms it crosses, this piece transforms into bookshelf, wine rack, wardrobe, table; going beyond its conceptual side and embracing a functional component.
The designers at Produce tried to respect one of the costumer’s main premisses, who said he wanted «to live in a space that is itself a piece of art».
